MotoVault is an independently operated software project.

About MotoVault

MotoVault helps motorcycle owners keep track of maintenance, fuel use, parts, accessories, reminders, photos and routes. MotoVault is offered to riders across the European Union.

Your account

You need an account to use MotoVault. Please give us accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your password or Google sign in secure.

Acceptable use

Please use MotoVault fairly. Do not upload unlawful content, try to access another rider's account, disrupt the service or attempt to bypass its security.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or that we reasonably believe has been compromised.

Your content

Everything you upload to MotoVault, your photos, documents and GPX routes, stays yours. We only use it to run the service for you: storing it, showing it back to you and letting you export it. We never sell it or use it for anything else.

If you upload a document, photo or route you did not create yourself, please make sure you have the right to do so.

Not a substitute for official records

MotoVault is a personal record keeping tool. It does not replace your motorcycle's official papers, invoices, inspection certificates or a mechanic's advice, and it does not verify anything you enter. Reminders are based only on what you or someone with access to your account typed in, so you remain responsible for your motorcycle's roadworthiness and for following the rules that apply to you.

Availability and your data

We work to keep MotoVault available and reliable, but cannot promise it will always be online or error free, and features may change while the project develops. You can export a full backup of your account at any time, and we recommend doing so occasionally so you always have your own copy. Exporting a single vehicle on its own is available where your plan includes that feature.

Suspension, termination and deletion

You can stop using MotoVault and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your vehicles and everything recorded against them, so please export anything you want to keep first. We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaches these Terms.

Liability

MotoVault is provided as a helpful tool, without a promise that it will suit every purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions made based on data you or another user entered. Nothing here limits rights you have under EU consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as MotoVault develops. We will update the date at the top of this page whenever we do, and continuing to use MotoVault after a change means you accept it.
