Maintenance and service records

Motorcycle Maintenance Tracker

Build a clear digital record of the work performed on your motorcycle. MotoVault keeps service dates, mileage, notes, costs and supporting files together, then helps you plan the next mileage- or date-based task.

Know what was done — and what comes next

A paper receipt can show that work happened, but it rarely gives you a useful overview months later. Notes, workshop invoices and photos also tend to end up in different places, making it harder to remember the mileage of the last service or which parts were fitted.

A motorcycle maintenance log puts those details into one timeline for each bike. Instead of reconstructing the past before every service, you can check the record you already created and plan from known dates and odometer readings.

A detailed motorcycle service history

Each MotoVault maintenance entry records a service date and category, with optional mileage, title, description, workshop and cost in your chosen currency. You can attach JPEG, PNG or WebP images and PDF files, so an invoice, receipt or photo stays with the work it supports. When a service completes one of your maintenance schedules, the same entry can mark that schedule as performed.

Plan by mileage, date or a repeating interval

MotoVault does not supply a manufacturer schedule or decide what your motorcycle needs. You define the tasks and intervals that match your bike and the guidance you follow.

Maintenance Schedule

Create a named maintenance schedule with a mileage interval, a month interval, or both. Add the last performed date or mileage and link relevant parts; recording the completed service advances the schedule.

Routines

Use routines for shorter repeating work such as chain care or regular checks. A routine repeats either by time or mileage and keeps its own completion history.

Reminders

Use a reminder for a one-off task with a due date, due mileage, or both, plus notes. It stays distinct from repeating routines and service schedules.

Optional email notifications can let you know as maintenance schedules approach or become due, and when routines or one-off reminders become due.

Keep the supporting records close

Maintenance attachments keep receipts, invoices and photos beside the service entry they explain. Elsewhere in the same private account, you can organize motorcycle documents and photos, plus parts and accessories with their own installation or purchase details.

That structure is more useful than a single folder of files: the record explains what each file relates to, while the file preserves the detail you may need later.

A personal digital motorcycle service record

Over time, the timeline becomes a practical reference for your own ownership: what work was performed, when it happened, the mileage at the time and which supporting records you kept.

MotoVault is an organizational tool. Its records do not certify maintenance, prove roadworthiness or replace the service instructions and official documentation supplied for your motorcycle.

How MotoVault fits into the job

Use it before, during and after maintenance without changing how you choose a workshop or carry out the work.

Check the existing history and due items before the job. After the work is complete, add the date, mileage, details and cost, attach any receipt or photo, and select the schedules that the service completed. MotoVault keeps the saved entry available for the next time you need to look back or plan ahead.
